god fucking dammit
does it really take that long
for water to boil
worst/best sister award.
so, i read one of these stories to my little brother the other day and he loved it. so tonight, he wanted me to read more. so we got all settled into my bed. he looked through the pictures and asked me to read two of the stories. well, i got REALLY into it. i was acting out some of the motions, putting on creepy voices. my brother was so intensely watching me that his heart was pounding. i ended up scaring him so profusely that he tried to go to bed…. and ended up coming out of his room crying.
the look of pure terror on his face was the cutest thing in the entire world. i had to sit down with him, reason with him about how these stories are all for fun and are supposed to make you feel scared. he just wasn’t having it, though. he was CONVINCED that despite the fact he hadn’t stolen or eaten a dead man’s toe.. something was going to come get him.
so i put him under all my covers, put on harry potter and prisoner of azkaban, and cuddled the shit out of him. we quoted the movie, mocked accents, made jokes, sang together. he barely fell asleep just now and i had to carry him to bed. he’s the best and i love him so much. my heart melts when i think about him!
and sat in my car for about ten minutes, abusing myself mentally for what just happened.
lol.
i’m soooooooo lame.
i finished book three in the TMI series, and im about to download the fourth to my kindle.
after that, im going to start reading game of thrones.
also, there’s a kid at work who is going to lend me one of his books from the Ender’s Game series. i forget the name of it, but it’s meant to be told from one of my favorite characters POV. im excited, i haven’t thought about those books in YEARS. i read the series when i was a freshman. it’ll be good to relive it!
